Lillian the Tiriki Girl

For curious young minds who have a thirst for learning about their world, look no further than my pages. I'm a playful story full of vibrant illustrations that show what it's like to grow up in northern Kenya.

Lillian Shirayar Mang'ong'o is my maker and the star of my world, who shares her real-life experiences, kid-to-kid, heart-to-heart. Off the page, Lillian is now grown up and doing life-changing work helping girls find safe places to thrive across Kenya. When you create a space for me in your home, you're helping to support her work.

With every corner of me packed with feel-good learning, I'm the perfect companion to curl up cosy next to. On the surface, I was designed for readers aged 4-7, but deep down, I'm a timeless story for humans of all ages to experience wonder, joy and connection.
